2 lbs away from onederland.
I just can't believe how much I have been losing lately. It's been steady for the past several weeks. I remember being 225 and thinking that I had so much to still go to get under that mark. I haven't been under 200 in about 23 years. It's like a living dream that this is coming true. I honestly do believe now, for the first time that I will FINALLY be successful in reaching my goal of 150.
I know that working outside has been a big help in getting my exercise. We are landscaping our side yard by our deck and I have been digging up dirt and moving bricks. Last night I moved the dogs pen which is about 3-6 ft and was sitting ontop of concret blocks. We put our pool up and the dog pen was too close to it so, I told Bill we were going to have to move it. He did not like the idea of going through all that again with digging the trench for the pen and getting the bricks set and leveled. So, guess who did it last night in less than 3 hours. It was sooooo hot and I had to go inside and rest and drink water a few times but, I did get it done and I think I must have sweated at least a couple of pounds out... LOL.
Mercy I have worked like that the last 3 days after getting home at 5:30. At least that way, I'm not in the hottest part of the day. I sure hope the pool is warm enough to swim tonight because I still have two more days to go to get my landscaping done. My little grandson turns 2 Sat and we are having a party and you know how that is... I want the place to look as good as I can. Plus with the pool being put up and the kids will be swimming so I don't want a bunch of dirt piles back there where they might step or trip or drag dirt into the pool. Tonight I need to set the brick walk path from the porch to the pool. I tell you, last year this time I did nothing but sit inside the air conditioning and now I am out working and sweating like a man. GO ME!!!

Thank you! Have you already had your WLS? I see your RNY date has 7/17/09? I had absolutely NO energy for 7 months following my RNY. I actually was getting scared because I had lost quite a bit and still had no umph to get up and do anything. I was going to bed at 7-9 at night and even my husband was starting to get a bit worried. Then it was like overnight I got it back and woke up one day and ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!! Here I go. I'm not much for walking and I have a knee that hurts whenever I walk too much so, getting out and doing yard work is so good for me. You are right though, I take a lot of breaks because its been so hot lately and that really drains a person. Make sure to drink lots of water when you outside working. The amazing thing is that you don't have to pee a lot since you sweat out the fluid. HA
